Please note: the e-learning course is only for people who have previously attended a SAGE & THYME Foundation Level or Online workshop (it does not replace SAGE & THYME training).
Why is refresher e-learning needed?
- In SAGE & THYME workshops staff, students and volunteers learn core listening skills.
- Refresher training keeps skills and knowledge up to date.
- E-learning is convenient and goes at the learner’s pace
E-learning course content:
- Importance of listening
- Indicators that a person is worried or upset
- Who SAGE & THYME can be used with and the benefits
- SAGE & THYME structure test and reminder
- Interactive videos of SAGE & THYME in action - a nurse - a lecturer – a manager – a mum
- When SAGE & THYME may not be appropriate
- Assessment – 10 questions selected randomly from bank of 15

How can we gain access to the e-learning course?
- Have a licence from us to run SAGE & THYME training
- Add the e-learning course to your licence by paying an additional annual fee for unlimited learner access if you have a private SCORM compliant learning management system (LMS)
- If you don’t have a LMS, we can discuss giving you access to the course through a hosted LMS for a fee based on your requirements
